Mike Rambour, CEO
Mike Rambour started working at SmartStar Corporation in Dec. 1986 and with the exception of 3 years has worked for SmartStar Corp. or its successors since 1986. Originally a FORTRAN programmer on the PACS product (a user accounting system on DIGITAL VAXes), he moved to the SmartStar technical support dept. early in 1987. SmartStar Corporation was acquired by Sapiens International Corporation in 1996 and the Goleta office was moved to N. Carolina, Mike left to work as a SmartStar Consultant with In-Line Technologies. After 3 years as a consultant, B2Systems, Inc., a Goleta company purchased the SmartStar/IDEO product lines from Sapiens and Mike went to work for B2Systems as a Developer.
During all these years with SmartStar, he has done a variety of jobs from Technical Support, Sales Support to consultant, met many of the clients at trade shows or while consulting. He brings an extensive knowledge of the SmartStar and IDEO products, along with being intimately familiar with their history and capabilities.
